What You Should Know
Activity spread fairly evenly through the day, with no single hour dominating. The morning saw early warrant arrests on Railroad Ave and Orleans St, plus the downtown narcotics arrest. Mid-afternoon brought a cluster of service-of-papers calls at the courthouse on Grand Ave, routine administrative work that inflates the count.
The Lettered Streets led all neighborhoods with seven incidents, though most were low-level: a behavioral health pickup, a juvenile problem, a fraud report, and the ammunition surrender at police headquarters on Grand Ave. Cordata had four calls, including two domestic disputes.

Nine arrests, six of them repeat offenders. The standout: a 34-year-old in Roosevelt picked up two charges in one stop, criminal impersonation of a family member plus a warrant. An 18-year-old downtown now has four arrests in under a month, two of them narcotics-related.
Arrest does not imply guilt. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Your Intel For Today
Assault Calls Trending Higher This Week Assault incidents are up 67% compared to the prior seven days, with 10 calls in the recent period versus 6 before. If this pace holds, expect continued elevated activity through the weekend, particularly in areas with nightlife foot traffic.
Narcotics Activity Worth Watching Narcotics calls have climbed 50% week-over-week, from 12 to 18 incidents. This uptick may signal increased enforcement focus or visible activity in the coming days, especially in downtown and the Lettered Streets area where yesterday's activity concentrated.
Overall Volume Running Below Last Week Despite a busier-than-usual Wednesday, this week is tracking 21% below last week's.
